We are looking for an Experienced Senior Actuary to join our team within PwC Assurance practice. Your main responsibilities will be:
- Analysis, recalculation and review of insurance provisions within Audit team
- Preparing and developing actuarial valuation models for various purposes (IFRS 17, SII, CF modeling)
- Implementation of new IFRS 17 standards within CEE region using also our global PwC IFRS 17 software solution (In a Box)
- Working closely with IT professionals to develop various different solutions to satisfy our client’s requirements

Personality requirements and skills
- University / Bachelor's Degree in mathematics / actuarial science or related area
- 4+ years of experience in insurance sector, actuarial related
- Profound knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Programming language (SAS, R, SQL...) is an advantage
- Experience with actuarial software such as Prophet, MoSes is an advantage
- Willing to work on projects within CEE region
- Ability to communicate clearly with colleagues and clients at all levels both in English and Slovak
- German is an advantage
- Strong analytical, research, IT and creative problem-solving skills
- Flexibility and ability to work in a team
- Good planning and organizing skills
- Willingness to learn and grow professionally
