Your field of responsibility

The AP Process Specialist will be responsible for the cost effective operation and high performance of the accounts payable processes in line with Service Level Agreements and Credit Suisse key objectives. The immediate focus for Accounts Payable currently is to maximize our investment to drive business benefits in Credit Suisse.

  • Process suppliers invoices and staff expense claims accurately and on a timely basis
  • Handle and understands local regulatory requirements that are applicable to Accounts Payable process eg hardcopy requirements
  • Perform auditing on staff expense claim against Global Expense Policy
  • Identify problem areas in the process and work with the team to generate solutions, e.g. ensuring invoices are authorised for payment in a timely manner
  • Prepare monthly report relating to the status of supplier and employee queries
  • Perform reconciliation timely, accounts payable to general ledger, supplier statement, bank statement, VAT, GST and withholding tax
  • Support local business stakeholders on Accounts Payable related queries
  • Work with business partners on a day-to-day basis to resolve supplier queries
  • Make recommendations for process improvement
  • Meet individual objectives and contribute to the achievement of the teams overall objectives
  • Ensure smooth operations and maintain high level of control on all processes.

Your skills and experience

The successful applicant will possess:

  • Have more than 3 years of proven working experience in a Finance department (Related experience in Accounts payable environment will be preferred)
  • Curiosity about process-improvement, attention to detail, getting to root cause of problem
  • Prior experience with working in a shared service centre and proven knowledge of Peoplesoft accounting systems will be an advantage
  • Strong command of English and Korean as the position will require the candidate to speak, read and write in English. Also, the position is based in South Korea so Korean language skills is essential to have
  • Professional and mature attitude
  • Interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Deliver under pressure and manage work within tight deadlines
