Responsible for all activities in relation to Group treasury operations such as ensuring continuous business flow mainly related to funding management, fixed income portfolio Cash Flows and Credit Control Management.

Responsibility
  • Coordinate with Group Finance teams on all cash flow & trade finance-related matters to ensure smooth cash flow management.
  • Ensure minimum bank borrowing & idle bank balance with appropriate planning& allocation of the fund.
  • Timely preparation and reporting of relevant reports including group cash flow position and projections.
  • Monitoring and analysis of applicable interest rate, bank charges & trade receivables cycle to improve group cash flow efficiency.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders for treasury-related matters
  • Review intercompany balances, reconciliations, and Group balance sheet reviews.
  • Ensuring effective internal control procedures and compliance with Group treasury and credit management policies and statutory requirements.
  • To enhance, develop and implement accounting policies and procedures including automation of processes to maintain and strengthen internal controls, in order to improve the overall treasury operations and effectiveness of the Group.
  • Fast, flexible and effective solutions to ad hoc business needs.
  • Required to engage with departments and subsidiaries within the group and provide guidance on Group Treasury and Credit Control matters.
  • Liaisons with auditors and relevant parties for statutory and legislative requirements.
  • To participate in ad-hoc tasks and projects assigned by Management from time to time.

Requirement
  • Must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree (ACCA, CIMA, CPA or its equivalent)
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in Group Treasury and Credit Management ie; experience in a multinational company or publicly listed company is added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of Treasury Function.
  • Strong knowledge of Credit Management Function
  • Responsible for maintaining authorization matrix for Group Payment Approval.
  • Able to work well with the Group Finance team in a fast-paced.
  • Good communication
  • Meticulous with good attention to detail, efficient, strong analytical skills
  • Advanced knowledge of a variety of office practices and procedures, use of office equipment, MS Office software, and accounting software, ie MYOB.
  • Computer literate and comprehend with MYOB system.
  • Able to maintain the confidentiality of Company records and information.
