Description
- Analyze and review actual financials during month end closing process and conduct variance analysis vs. forecast from business driver perspective
- Analyze operating results for different sales channel incl. digital, B&M (emblematic store), wholesales and hospitality.
- Assist departmental leads in identifying risks, efficiencies and/or opportunities through analysis.
- Alert management to potential areas of exposure and recommend solutions to ensure on-budget performance.
- Work with budget owners to control department spending, alert budget owners for any deviation from forecast and agree on action plan for year to go.
- Project planning for new store opening.
- Establish and maintain strong business partnerships across divisional finance teams to promote teamwork and organizational alignment.
- Liaise with various internal and external teams to gather information and provide reporting and information as needed to facilitate informed financial decision making.
- Provide support in the preparation of the annual budgets.
- Analyze existing processes and provide support as new processes are coordinated and put in place within and across divisions.
- Assist in the preparation of presentation material on a periodic and ad hoc basis.
Profile
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, with experience in operating budget accounting, tracking, preparation and management (retail, wholesale and licensing background a plus).
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance and/or Accounting.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Must have high degree of accuracy with a strong attention to detail.
- Able to work independently with a can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
- Well organized with an ability to multitask efficiently.
- Team player possessing a strong work ethic and drive for results.
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Working proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
