Accounts Assistant

This role involves working as part of the Finance Chief Operating Office. You will spend your time carrying out your tasks and routines in support of key business areas whilst working closely with our credit control department. A range of process requirements must be adhered to, as well as your ability to prioritise and respond to urgent situations as well as your aptitude to communicate effectively in order to effectively manage stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities

- Handling the routine flow of requests for information into and out of the department: responding or re-directing and prioritising items accordingly
- Maintaining accurate, up-to-date records and ensuring data and content is appropriately secure
- Communicating and liaising with internal finance colleagues and others, including external advisers as necessary in order to check accuracy, give or obtain further information and/or resolve queries
- Manage incoming cash for UK entities and assign to appropriate business lines
- Ensuring information is presented clearly, unambiguously and in a readily comprehensible and appropriate format for the audience and business purpose

Requirements

- Minimum Educational Requirements (GCSE C grade Maths/English)
- Previous experience in a finance admin role or customer service environment
