Payments and Payroll Administrative

The duties will include but are not limited to:Handling the processing of bank transfers on behalf of clients to the respective suppliers and other beneficiaries;Liaising with banks to ensure that the executed transfers and payments are being processed;Assisting members of the client payroll team in preparing and executing payroll for multiple clients includingcollecting data from timesheets and rosters and inputting data on payroll software;Liaising with clients’ request and queries;Performing the distribution of wages through issuance of cheques or direct transfers to employees' bank accounts;Assisting clients with the onboarding and offboarding process of their employees including submission of employeeinformation to JobsPlus;Ensuring that client employee records are kept up to date and in line with employment and data protectionregulations;Assisting in filing single work permit applications;General administrative work of the payroll team, and other duties emanating from the role.RequirementsA minimum A Level standard of education;Experience in a similar role, and any payroll and/or HR related qualifications would be considered an asset;Knowledge of Maltese Employment law and HR systems such as Shireburn Indigo, BambooHR and the like, wouldbe considered an asset;A 5-star customer service attitude, ready to work with different clients and surpass their expectations;Excellent ability to communicate in English, both verbally and written;A proven ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and internal departments;Ability to work as part of a team, assisting others where necessary to ensure all deadlines are met;Ability to work on own initiative and with minimum supervision;Ability to prioritise between different clients and deadlines according to urgency and ability to multi-task.
