You’ll be someone who can work pro-actively, managing your own tasks, but you’ll also be confident collaborating with others, communicating regularly with senior managers, Directors, and BDO’s Partners to enable us to serve our clients effectively. You’ll be encouraged to identify and draw attention to opportunities for enhancing our delivery and providing additional services to our clients.

The Treasury Manager will have the opportunity to work on a variety of Financial Services clients providing treasury advisory and internal audit services. You will work as part of the Internal Audit team, but we work as one Advisory team and it is expected that you will get involved in wider treasury advisory reviews such as benchmarking, process improvement and treasury system implementations.

You’ll be someone with:

• Treasury management within Financial Services
• Strong knowledge of the wider Financial Services sector and the UK regulatory environment.
• Experience of planning and delivery of Financial Services treasury internal audit reviews, and reporting to Audit Committees and/or regulatory assurance reviews, or in the development and operation of treasury control frameworks within Financial Services
• Team management experience
• Recognised treasury, accountancy or internal audit professional qualifications and/or memberships i.e. ACT, ICAEW, CIMA, CIIA, ACCA etc.
• Strong written / communication skills, ability to influence, lead and engage
• Understanding of risk management and internal control
• Functional knowledge of the UK regulatory environment with deeper knowledge of treasury management and good practice in this area across financial services firms
