This is a key role within the Commercial Finance team supporting the Technology Business Unit, and one which will help unlock value for our end customer and drive business performance through insight, action, and accountability.

Key responsibilities in the role include:

- A key contributor to the monthly financial review and reporting process and challenge for all areas of Management Overheads within the Technology & Security Business Unit.

- Includes P&L and Capex reporting, and providing review and feedback into the Technology People Director as well as the Leadership team

- Own the budgeting & rolling reforecasting process across EBITDA and cash for the area of Management Overheads, including review and challenge with Technology and Security Leadership team (TSLT).

- Contribute to and attend the weekly R&O (risk & opportunities) forum with the TSLT, including challenge to initiatives and assumptions

- Support with monthly reforecasts of the Group Capex position working closely with the Senior Capex Manager on the production as required.

- Accountability for Monthly actuals, able to understand deviations to budget and articulate the story back into the business

- Accountability for Monthly reforecasting of management overheads through R&O and the overall reforecast submission into Group.

- Maintain rate cards for the purpose of capitalised time

- Build strong relationships with the People Director and supporting team through excellent pro-active stakeholder management

- Critical member of the finance team providing support and cover for the Finance Managers when required.

- Own and manage Technology inputs to Customer Value Management and CLV process

- Collaborate with confidence to influence key decision making with the business unit, willing to challenge as a vocal and valued member of the team

What we are looking for:
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Part qualified or Fully Qualified in CIMA, ACA or ACCA
  • Good communications and interpersonal skills; ability to establish rapport, influence and develop relationships with all key stakeholders, as well as being credible and comfortable attending formal meetings with senior stakeholders and contributing to working groups.
