Job summary:

Within this role you will be Leading and overseeing the JCT600 Vehicle Leasing Solutions (VLS) accounts and finance team, ensuring the accurate processing, recording and completion of all accounts information and the achievement of all financial objectives.

Supporting the Managing Director in influencing and driving strategic change and growth within the business whilst maintaining effective financial control of the business in line with all required JCT600 and legislative policies.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Reporting directly to the Group Finance Director, you will assume leadership of the Accounts & Finance team and be responsible for monitoring the financial security of JCT600 VLS.
  • Helping to achieve the budgeted financial and operational objectives of JCT600 VLS whilst efficiently managing expenses.
  • Providing regular, accurate, timely and meaningful financial accounts, budgets and reports to Head Office and the VLS Management team.
  • Providing commercial advice to senior managers and drafting commercial pricing models to support the new business wins and drive profitable business growth.
  • Oversee and control cash flow and liquidity for JCT600 VLS through the careful control of debtors and supplier payments.
  • Providing credit risk reviews on all companies wishing to do business with JCT600 VLS and regular monitoring of the risk profiles of existing customers.
  • Safeguarding and acting as 'custodian' of the assets of JCT600 VLS at all times and immediately reporting any concerns to appropriate management.
  • Advising the Managing Director and senior managers on the financial policies of JCT600 Limited and ensuring adherence to them.

Qualifications:

  • Ideally be a fully qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA).
  • Strong leadership, motivation and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels with the ability to provide financial guidance and advice up to Board level.
  • Commercially astute with an eye on identifying business improvement opportunities.
  • Naturally self-motivated with a desire to learn and develop through the group development platform.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a methodical approach.
  • Excellent IT skills and systems experience, including Microsoft Excel.
