Do you have experience posting monthly journals along with balance sheet reconciliations? Do you have a good understanding of debits and credits? Have you worked within the technology or media industry? Due to rapid growth across the business, we are currently working in partnership with a well-renowned Technology business who are on the search for an Assistant Management Accountant to join there impressive finance function based in Central London. Reporting into the Senior Management Accountant, the role of Assistant Management Accountant will be to assist in the production of Management Accounts along with UK and Europe VAT reports.
Further Responsibilities include:
The ideal candidate will be part of the way through there accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA/AAT) with 2 years of experience within a similar role. You'll have a good understanding of double entry accounting with hands-on experience posting journals and assistance with bank and balance sheet reconciliations. Strong MS Excel skills (essential) along with experience using NetSuite being desirable.
You will have worked within either the Technology or Media Industry and have a keen interest in the sector. You will be self-motivated have excellent communication skills. You will be self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and meet set deadlines.

Further Responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the preparation and posting of the groups Department Accounts
- Posting monthly journals for UK & Europe
- Accruals and prepayments
- Assisting with the preparation of supplier payment runs
- Assisting with the UK, Ireland and other European countries audit
- Working closely alongside the sales team and preparing new sales wins reports
