Role/ Department:
To ensure that clients are provided with an effective service by the Department in accordance with the client’s needs and the policies and procedures of the Company. To manage all aspects of the administration for a wide range of onshore and offshore fund vehicles which include trusts, limited partnerships and companies.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
Oversight
- Building relationships with outsourced locations
- Gaining an understanding of the outsourced locations’ legal/regulatory changesand additionally their goals and challenges
- Assisting with the annual review of legal agreements between jurisdictions, proposing changes in accordance with any service changes
- Assisting with the collation of monthly KPIs and attending monthly oversight meetings – escalating any issues, as required
- Reviewing any documentation as required and acting as a subject matter expert for clients
New Business
- Acting as subject matter expert for UK Alternatives – being able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of the operations of Private Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure and Private Debt funds
- Providing RFP/RFI and questionnaire support
- Attendance at industry conferences and events
- Ensuring appropriate Due Diligence / Risk Reviews are undertaken during onboarding
- Attending calls and meetings with existing clients who are looking to launch new funds
- Ensuring best of practice for initial document templates, SLDs, KPIs
- Assisting with the content of client administration agreements
Ongoing Client Relationship Management
- Being able to demonstrate a good working knowledge on the client’s service offering
- Attending client service calls / board meetings
- Escalating any client service issues, incidents etc internally, as appropriate
Company Secretarial
- Understands basic Company Secretarial Procedures
- Understands filing requirements and arranges necessary filings on a timely basis
- Understands registered office requirements
General
- Has an understanding of the anti-money laundering legislation, particularly with regard to Investor ‘KYC’
- Authorise instructions as a “B” signatory of the Company
- Keep the Department Manager informed of significant client developments
- Fulfil additional, relevant, tasks appropriate to the role and business requirement
Skills / Qualifications:
The successful candidate will benefit from having:
- Knowledge of the administration of Alternatives funds to include structures and the regulatory requirement
- Experience in administration, desirable in Funds/Alternatives
- Relevant Professional Qualification or qualified by experience
