Your field of responsibility

As a part of role, your responsibility includes:

  • Responsible for obtaining an in-depth understanding of each business and/or function being audited, identification and assessment of risks (including understanding the manner in which such risks are controlled, and the audit approach required to ensure controls are appropriately designed and operating optimally)
  • Responsible for execution of IT audit fieldwork encompassing execution of the planned approach for the audit in a team-based environment, interacting and communicating closely with various levels of staff and management throughout the Bank
  • Responsible for both Integrated (IT and Financial Audit) and IT Infrastructure Audits. Integrated audits will focus on application and associated general controls. Infrastructure audits will focus on governance and controls supporting the Bank's core infrastructure component
  • Responsible for maintaining stakeholder relationships via periodic catch-ups and updates to stakeholders
  • Accountable for completion of high-quality audit planning and fieldwork documentation including scoping, audit procedures, workpapers, etc.
  • Accountable for completion of high-quality issue and action plan validations to ensure that the risks have been adequately mitigated as per management’s commitments.

Your skills and experience

We are looking for highly motivated applicants who possess a bachelor or master’s degree in computer science, accounting/finance and business administration or related areas, one or more IT audit certifications (e.g. CISA, CISSP, CIA) and have an interest in Financial Services with proven work experience in IT, ideally relating to risk and control, such as IT general computer controls or Information Security. Experience within the financial industry would be an advantage. Overall minimum 4+ years working experience with Internal Audit experience preferred.

  • Have proven understanding of risk and how controls can mitigate those risks while being commercial
  • Chip in with your outstanding analytical skills and precision in delivery, which when paired with an understanding emerging IT trends and regulatory topics sets you apart
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills and can present technical information in a simple and concise way to a broad range of audiences
  • A passionate learner and a dedicated problem solver with a can-do demeanor
  • Phenomenal multi-tasking and time management skills which enable you to quickly gain trust and deliver optimally towards timelines
  • Keen to work in a global environment and excel at collaborating in a globally distributed team
  • Experience and proven knowledge of core Investment Banking/Private Banking business processes and technologies preferred
