Who we are looking for

A financial crime analyst with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field

  • 1-3 years’ work experience in a related field, preferably with a multinational company is an advantage
  • Proven ability to manage your own workload and enjoy helping clients succeed, with proper timely follow-ups
  • Demonstrated success in addressing client problems creatively as well as to proactively find solutions to problems
  • Good English and fluent Hungarian language knowledge
  • High level computer literacy (PPT, Excel, Word), typing skills

Your future role

  • Financial Crime Analyst responsible for investigating financial crimes, including fraud, theft, and other related offenses in the financial market
  • Conducting research on new laws and regulations pertaining to financial crimes such as money laundering, marketplace fraud or corruption
  • Identifying patterns of illegal activity using computer software for data analysis
  • Preparing reports detailing findings and conclusions
  • Conducting audits to ensure compliance with laws, rules, and regulations
  • Investigating suspected fraudulent activities, such as embezzlement, money laundering, securities fraud, computer crimes, insurance fraud, bribery, and kickbacks
  • Monitoring financial markets for signs of economic instability that could lead to high-risk investments by individuals or companies
  • Performing audits to ensure businesses are complying with local and EU regulations

You are expected to:

  • Directly support business units maintaining a high level of quality and maximising efficiency
  • Become an expert of anti-money laundering and terrorist financing and transaction monitoring
  • Build own brand as a financial crime subject matter expert
  • Report on time spent on customer deliveries

About the team

You will be working collaboratively as part of a geographically distributed team in the CE region to deliver high quality and high impact service. Within the Financial Crime of FSI Risk & Regulation it is expected that every member of the team takes ownership of the complete customer journey from onboarding to off boarding. You will be the expert supporting the Customer Support and Delivery function during the delivery process and communicate with stakeholders when required, while building your own brand as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
