This job involves working as part of the Consolidated Accounting & Analysis Team which has a wide range of responsibilities including reviewing and submitting the UK's quarterly financial submission to the Statutory Reporting Team, co-ordinating with the wider Accounting & Analysis team ahead of submission as well as accounting for some more complex areas such as Share Based Payments, Internal and External Loans, Intangible Assets, IFRS 16 as well as one off transactional items. The team is also responsible for producing the Operational Plan for Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and Non-Technical Account, providing Balance Sheet Commentary, landing and allocating the expense base and managing the UK's Holding Companies.

This is an exciting role that will interact with other functions across finance to help drive quarterly reporting and land some of the more complex accounting areas. The successful applicant should be comfortable both working independently on issues as well as collaborating with, co-ordinating and influencing other areas of the business.

The Role

Other responsibilities include:

• Co-ordination of quarterly Financial Submissions to Group

• Ownership of key controls around the review of quarterly submissions for the UK

• Dealing with questions from the Statutory Reporting team and other finance functions

• Booking of some UK level consolidation adjustments

What you'll need

• Qualified Accounting professional, ACCA/ACA/CIMA

• Relevant previous experience in a limited company and/or regulated business

• Effective & Proportionate Financial Control

• Proven ability to manage complex financial reporting procedures and consistently achieve accurate, on time delivery
