First Intuition is a fast-growing premier provider of accountancy training and apprenticeships. As part of our ongoing growth (doubling headcount over the last 24 months) we are looking for Apprenticeship Skills Coaches to support our apprentices across London, Birmingham and Manchester. This role offers great long-term prospects for the right candidate, including participation in our company bonus scheme.

The Apprenticeship Skills Coach is a critical role at First Intuition, and you will be responsible for following the apprentice through their ‘apprenticeship journey’ giving support and guidance along the way so they stay on track to achieve the very best outcome.

Duties and responsibilities to include:

  • Meeting apprentices and their line managers on a regular basis via virtual media to review their progress on the apprenticeship programme and agreeing targets and actions to ensure apprentices remain on track to achieving a timely completion.
  • Provision of coaching and guidance on how to identify further opportunities for development of the skills and behaviours required by the apprenticeship and working with apprentices and employers to document evidence of progress in an efficient and effective manner using tools such as FI’s bespoke learning system.
  • Supporting induction and skills development of apprentices by delivering presentations and running skills workshops.
  • Supporting the reporting of progress and associated data collection requirements.
  • Supporting the ongoing administration of the apprenticeship programme for learners, including course bookings and exam results.
  • Working with the Quality and Compliance Manager to implement new processes and approaches to supporting apprentices to enhance the quality of on-programme support.
  • Supporting additional work as required by management from time to time.

Qualifications and Skills - Essential

  • Ability to inspire, influence and motivate, with an enthusiasm for learning.
  • Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Confident and professional, as you will be representing the brand to clients and apprentices.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage own workload.
  • Microsoft literate (Excel, Outlook).
  • Up to date knowledge of apprenticeship standards.

Qualifications and Skills - Desirable

  • Understanding of the accountancy sector/qualifications (AAT, ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW).
  • Coaching/Assessing experience.

Location
We are looking for roles to be based in our Birmingham, London and Manchester offices. All of our offices are centrally located in terms of public transport.
