Our new colleague, a Senior HR & Payroll Consultant, will be providing payroll services to a diverse range of international clients, working closely with the HR & Payroll Supervisor to respect deadlines and high quality of services. S/He will be supported for growth through TMF Business Academy and will have a chance to pass on the knowledge to more junior members of the team.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Full ownership in managing all kind of client’s requests

  2. Ensures payroll is prepared in an accurate, compliant and timely manner
  3. Reviews payroll submissions and ensures proper disbursement of earnings and tax amounts
  4. Processing payrolls complex clients
  5. Provides labour and payroll consultancy services to clients when needed
  6. Supports and assists more junior team members
  7. Checks on processed payrolls by Junior Specialists
  8. Performs monthly account reconciliations
  9. Supports internal and external audits related to payroll
  10. Analyses payroll data
  11. Conference calls and client meetings together with Senior Officer or Supervisor
  12. Processing year end reporting
  13. General tasks for the team

About you

  1. Advanced knowledge of English (B2/C1)

  2. Proven experience in a payroll role within a payroll delivery position.
  3. Expertise in all MS Office packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
  4. Degree in Law and/or Economics
  5. Between 6 and 10 years’ experience in similar Organizations
  6. Excellent client services skills
  7. Articulates and is able to communicate complex ideas in a simple, easy-to-understand manner
  8. Trustworthy team member who considers those around them
  9. Excellent organizational and communication skills
  10. Deep expertise in Payslips’ System
  11. Deep knowledge of Italian Labour Law
  12. Understands personal development areas and is driven to 'bridge' gaps
  13. Is aware of client contracts and what is W.I.P./ 'out of scope'
  14. Understands TMF Groups' business lines, regulatory requirements and how the organisation is structured
  15. May delegate to support staff with clear explanation
  16. Will manage stakeholders' expectations concerning delivery, escalating concerns as appropriate.
  17. Upholds the VALUES of the organisation in all they do and acts with integrity
