EMEA Controller Business Management & Support
The EMEA Controller Business Management & Support (ECBMS) team is part of JP Morgan’s Corporate & Investment Bank Business and Finance team. The team provides BM and digital & innovation support to the EMEA financial controller team. Specifically this includes:
- Digital innovation through the use of tools such as Alteryx, Xceptor & Tableau
- Process re-design through the use of collaborative tools such as Confluence & wDesk
- Headcount & expense management
- MIS provision
- Strategic planning
Role Responsibilities
This is an excellent opportunity in a growing role which gives a significant opportunity to develop both the role and the individual. The role supports the EMEA Financial Controller Digital Agenda through the delivery of Intelligent Solutions. The role involves understanding relevant governance, supporting process & innovation design, delivery & sustainment with business stakeholders, delivering specific Intelligent Solutions Specific Responsibilities include:
- Act as the Confluence lead user for the EMEA Legal Entity Controller team
- Running the Confluence Centre of Excellence
- Designing and maintaining Confluence training material on learning@jpmc
- Deliver locally focused Confluence training
- Maintain Confluence MIS
- Chair the Confluence Working Group
- Provide Confluence design and consultancy services to end users
- Maintain a strong link with vendor and tech support teams
- Act as the Signavio lead user for the EMEA LEC team
- Design, maintain and enhance current Signavio workflows.
Role Requirements
- Demonstrable project management experience is essential.
- Consulting experience (internal or external) is highly desirable.
- Innovation and change management skills are essential.
- The role requires strong communication and organisation skills, an aptitude for learning new software platforms, an eye for process improvement, and a mindset to innovate/change.
- Possessing a ‘delivery mindset’ and comfortable taking ownership to ‘get things done’.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience delivering tactical change in a digital environment.
- Proficient in Confluence, Signavio & Excel (essential) ,Proficient with Tableau & Alteryx, (desirable).
- Experience working with a range of software platforms, covering data preparation, analysis, and visualisation.
- Knowledge of applying information management and technology controls frameworks.
- Background in finance is desirable.
- Conversant with concepts such as Software Development Life Cycle, Databasing and Data Management, and Process Design.
