This Analyst, Vendor Risk Management role is responsible for using a variety of tools to assist with system operational visibility, triage support, reporting and metrics in support of the Global Procurement organization as a member of Vendor Risk Management (VRM) team. This position will be responsible for the following activities as assigned by the VRM Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support ongoing assessment of existing vendors
- Support needs as identified by the VRM manager
- Support user groups as appropriate to understand and implement critical updates for improved operating
- Provide support for questions and issues related to governance of the platform, and delivering solutions
- Prioritization of the issues as they arise
- Provide analysis and hands-on support for visible or complex projects or ones that involve new features
- Report and analyze cross-functional metrics and trends
- Provide support to the VRM manager on projects/discussions with functional stakeholders
Key Requirement:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or science preferably in health and safety, or equivalent combination of relevant experience and training
- Proven experience with detailed data analysis, and an ability to quickly assess and draw conclusions from
- Proficient with other MS Office products including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ideal qualifications:
- Prior experience working within a procurement function preferred.
- Prior experience with technology system administration
