Job Description
Working as part of our finance team to ensure that all financial transactions with both customers and suppliers are accurate, timely, and compliant with good practice, and that the experience for customers and suppliers dealing with us is friendly and positive.
What will the apprentice be doing?
Provide assistance to the Finance team.
Daily Banking.
Transaction processing using Navision.
Assist sales and purchase ledger.
Prepare accounts to trial balance.
Balance sheet reconciliations.
Create and maintain spreadsheets.
Assist with stock control.
Provide administrative assistance.
Ad-hoc Finance projects
Deal with telephone calls including customer and supplier queries
Qualifications
Desired skills and personal qualities:
Communication skills, IT skills, Organisation skills, Administrative skills, Number skills
Qualifications:
GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 5) Essential
GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade 5) Essential

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
It will be a fixed term contract for 16 months to cover the term of the Level 3 qualification, with possibility of an extension to complete the level 4. This would be negotiated towards the end of the first 16 months.
There is no guarantee of employment at the end of the apprenticeship.

- Day release once a week to college at CWCT.
