Client Details
A reputable public sector organisation looking to add a credit controller to their Coventry team.
Description
- Liaising with clients and internal operations managers in a respectful manner, on a daily basis;
- Responsible for contacting customers, focusing on the credit collection timetable, by telephone, letter or email to recover payments;
- Focus on reducing late payments and bad debt;
- Allocating receipts in a diligent and timely manner;
- Assisting with the preparation of sales cash receipts forecasts;
- Responsible for alerting management where risks of bad debts occur;
- Generate relevant paperwork for debts going legal, ensuring credit control procedures have been followed with integrity at all times;
- Opening new customer accounts on the system;
- Issuing monthly client statements;
- Prepare and bank cheques;
Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working in credit control (minimum 2 year);
- Great communication skills;
- Good attention to detail;
- Very good organisation skills;
