Regulatory Manager (Foreign Retail Bank)

Robert Half Financial Services is hiring for Senior Vice President role within a growing global provider of administration in Hong Kong.

The Role

The Regulatory Manager will be a member of the finance team, assisting in the Prepare and review regulatory reports, government survey and other ad hoc reports and testing. The Regulatory Manager will be expected to play an active role on day-to-day operations and projects in the following areas:

• Prepare and review HKMA returns, government survey and financial disclosure statements
• Streamline the return reporting process with adequate control checks on each return and across different returns
• Participate in the regulatory reporting automation project
• Create and update procedure manual
• Participate in transversal projects assigned by Head of Finance
• Develop the new working process on new reports
• Coordinate with relevant departments on collecting the required information requested by the regulatory bodies
• Study the new rules published by regulatory bodies

Your Profile

• Minimum 5 years related experience, big4 candidates with banking audit experience is also welcome
• Qualified accountant or degree holder with major in Accountancy
• Through knowledge of HKMA / SFC regulatory requirements
• Ability to deal with multi tasks and work within a dynamic and evolving environment
• Proficient in Excel and Word
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal in Mandarin and English) and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage regulatory change
• Good presentation skills, strong analytical mind, and problem-solving techniques
