The client is an established family run business who are market leaders within their industry. The business is growing rapidly, and as a result, they are looking for an experienced Credit Manager to manage the team and help handle the large work flows within the St. Albans office.

Description

As a Credit Manager in St Albans, you will:

• Lead and manage team of 10+.
• Evaluate the creditworthiness of potential customers.
• Create credit scoring models for risk assessments.
• Approve and rejecting loans based on available data.
• Calculate and setting loan interest rates.
• Negotiate the terms of the loan with new clients.
• Ensure all loans and lending procedures comply with regulations.
• Maintain records of all company loans.
• Monitor loan payments and bad debts.
• Review and updating the company's credit policy.

Profile

The Perfect Credit Manager will have:

• Has held the position of Credit Control Manager and can manage a team of 10 or more
• Has worked in a multi-site business with a large customer base
• A People person that communicates well and has a can do attitude.
• Experience in reporting to Directors or Stakeholders regularly
• Experienced with, and comfortable to implement process changes.
• Experience with integration of new businesses and acquisitions would also useful.
