*About the role*

Our Scoresby head office is offering a rare 13-month full time undergraduate Accounting Internship opportunity commencing 30th January 2023 with our Cummins Business Services team for a current undergraduate Accounting student who is keen to utilise theoretical skills learnt in their degree and develop practical skills in the workforce. This is a unique opportunity to gain skills and knowledge while you are working full time.

"What Will You Do"
  • Provide assistance with accounting month end activities
  • Participate in financial reporting
  • Prepare monthly journals
  • Perform bank reconciliations and cashflows on a weekly basis
  • Participates in continuous improvements projects
  • Perform Balance Sheet reconciliations and assist with close activities
  • Supports the Business Services Finance team in ad hoc activities and projects
  • Work with our team across the Asia Pacific region, with the relevant currencies and banking systems

_About You:_

To qualify for this undergraduate internship, it is essential that you:
  • Are currently studying an undergraduate Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • Have between 1 and 8 units of study left to complete of your undergraduate degree as of February 2022
  • Are available for the full 13 months and be willing to defer your studies for that duration
  • Possess Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency

  • Strong computer literacy and a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
