Overview:

This position is part of the global Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS) In Business Risk organization responsible for supporting the global TTS business execution needs related to critical regulatory and transformation programs, including the implementation of the new Enterprise Resilience Policy and Operational Resilience Standard in line with the scope and timeframes of relevant local regulations.

Part of a growing team, the Project Manager will work with the TTS product managers (global/ regional and country), the TTS Function teams (Operations and Technology), and the Global Enterprise Resilience and Global Business Services teams to implement a robust and consistent framework across all business services owned by TTS. Expertise in the transaction services business and products, project management and communication skills are required in order to guide, influence and assist others to meet strict timelines.

This position will report to the global TTS Regulatory Transformation Program Office Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities that will drive the completion of the annual Operational Resilience self-assessments and testing, for each critical business service owned by TTS and each legal entity in scope
  • Collaborate with Program Managers across other Lines of Business to action deliverables from each Program's action plan and ensure timely execution to meet individual regulations and jurisdiction requirements
  • Stakeholder engagement and management, partnering with Citi's Enterprise Resilience team to ensure all stakeholders are identified and included in scope definition activities and understand the program schedule and key milestones
  • Manage and track the project/ work effort including the development and maintenance of a project plan that outlines the key milestones and tasks associated with completing the project
  • Provide regular status reporting and communicate next steps, dependencies, etc and document decisions/ changes to the project in the form of meeting minutes, and develop materials for various governance forums and senior management steer
  • Collaborate with other members of the cross-functional working groups on any project delays, risk assessment and risk mitigation plans
  • Drive adherence to program processes, procedures, methods, and standards for program delivery


Developmental Value:
  • The role is global in nature and will entail developing relationships and working with senior stakeholders across multiple countries, products and control functions
  • Exposure across the TTS business, ICG and in various regional/ global forums


Knowledge/ Experience:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree is required
  • 6-10 years of related experience in program/ project management and process improvement, working on large, strategic cross-functional projects
  • Strong business understanding of the transaction services business, and the products and services that TTS offers
  • Experience of working within a global and virtual team; business process re-engineering experience preferred


Competencies:
  • Superior program/ project management skills and experience; ability to develop, execute and monitor initiative plans using MS Project
  • Process oriented; ability to analyze current processes; ability to analyze raw data and draw conclusions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to escalate issues to management
  • Strong track record of effectively assessing and managing competing priorities to deliver high quality and timely work
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, problem solving, team work and analytical skills
  • Comfortable navigating complex, highly-matrixed organizations and working in an ambiguous environment with minimal or offsite supervision
  • Ability to multitask in a high pressure environment and work under tight deadlines
  • Highly collaborative, team orientated and a strong consensus builder
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to set high standards of deliverables. Highly developed attention to detail
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills and be an advanced user of MS PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint and Project
