Job Description

Tasks / responsibilities:

  • Detailed planning of milestones and deliveries per workstream/template as well as tracking.
  • Detailed clarification of data deliveries (who is doing what and when?).
  • Processing data input for workstream.
  • Coordinate and quality assurance of partial results delivered.
  • Distribute questions and feedback from regulator within workstream and prepare answers.
  • Regular update of management or central PMO where needed.
  • Quality assurance of alignment with COREP / FINREP reporting and data plausibility checks.
  • Co-ordination with the Data Aggregator.
  • Write/Co-ordinate explanatory notes for the workstreams.
  • Run key working groups or remediation of key program issues or risks to closure.
  • Key involvement in all Project Lifecycle events.
  • Co-ordination engagement across the Finance Program stakeholders (Business & Technology) to facilitate discussions and information sharing and gathering.
  • General Projects administrative tasks, minuting, meeting management.
  • Provide business and data analysis; analyzing and documenting key business discussions and requirements, managing timelines, tracking action items and other project related materials.
  • Support requirements gathering and User Activity Testing (UAT) – comprehensive test case creation, testing, checking and validation of test data, ensuring key stakeholders participated in UAT and sign offs acquired for project implementation.
  • Establish specific forums with Finance stakeholders to drive forward analysis, investigation or resolution of issues, facilitate ad hoc discussions with contacts where necessary.
  • Manage communication of status updates to Finance & Program stakeholders through presentations and reports used in different forums.
  • Partner with Finance stakeholders, providing guidance and analysis, helping identify and escalate issues/risks/dependencies and facilitating communication across teams.
  • Assist with coordinating working group meetings, setting the agenda, preparing meeting materials, documenting minutes and ensuring clear ownership of action items.

Skills:

  • Would be beneficial to have Experience in performing EBA/ECB stress tests for the relevant topics (i.e. Credit Risk or Market Risk or Op Risk or NII and Capital)
  • Knowledge about the relevant products for the topics of JPM SE (e.g. loan portfolio for credit risk) & regulatory reports (COREP / FINREP)
  • Good communication skills regarding mediation and reporting.
  • Experience in handling regulatory requests would be advantageous.
  • An understanding of Finance and Risk responsibilities
  • Knowledge of internal Finance and Risk organization / stakeholders relevant for the workstream.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail; capable of synthesizing and summarizing complex data or findings to drive decision making.
  • Ability to demonstrate personal initiative, ownership and accountability.
  • Effective interpersonal, relationship building and influencing skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate (oral and written) and partner with key stakeholders to help advance project agenda.
  • Improved understanding of Project lifecycle & methodology, Project Governance, and Project roles & responsibilities.
  • Will gain experience in managing and driving concurrent and competing activities, prioritising workload and communicating priority of deliverables to owners; will learn to challenge and absorb change or direction at short notice, and become autonomous in task completion.
  • Project Management & Business Analysis experience.
  • Will be capable of analysing complex inter-dependent data, contributing innovative solutions and approaches to tasks & sequence accordingly, acquire strong documentation creation & version controlling experience as well as review of content & quality.
  • Will have plenty of opportunity to present status and updates to other Project and Senior Stakeholders.
