Financial Reporting Specialist (fixed term)

Currently, we are looking for candidates for a Financial Reporting Specialist who will manage financial compliance of Licensing agreements GSK has entered into, including the royalty and collaboration cost clauses. Contract end date: 31.07.2023

The team will work closely with our HQ Finance teams in London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Management - Manage own portfolio of licensing agreements.
  • Prepare summaries of royalty contracts.
  • Controls - Compliance of contractual financial reporting to 3rd parties and internal compliance with applicable Sarbanes Oxley controls.
  • Month end processes - Prepare analysis and journals for monthly royalty accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, commentary, and Sarbanes Oxley control responsibilities.
  • Intercompany royalties - Prepare analysis for journals and obtain approval from Tax for inter-company royalties.
  • Forecasting and Budgeting - Prepare annual Budget royalty rates for your portfolio of products.
  • Relationship Management and Continuous Improvement - Develop business partnership and seek opportunities to drive process improvements and report standardization.

The role may be done 80% remotely (4 days per month in office required).

Why you:

Basic Qualifications and Experience:

  • Finance / Economy degree
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in finance and accounting
  • Understanding of accounting concepts such as double entry and accruals
  • Awareness of IFRS 
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
  • Fluent English (minimum C1)

Preferred Qualification:

  • SAP experience beneficial – FI Module
