The Payroll Manager is an exciting opportunity to join a globally leading business and support their centralised Payroll Team. You will be responsible for a specific portfolio of entities with a headcount consisting of around 1200 employees.

Client Details

The client are one of the largest advertising, marketing and corporate communications companies in the world. Consisting of around 1500 agencies, listed on the NYSE and a Fortune 500 company with turnover of approximately $14 billion.

This is a hybrid role based in the City of London.

Description

The Payroll Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Manage the day-today administration of monthly payroll systems
  • Collate all monthly payroll data from various systems within the specified deadlines to ensure smooth and accurate data entry
  • Checking of daily import reports from various systems
  • Uploading new joiners and payment files for the pensions
  • Process and calculate new joiners, leavers and adhoc pay
  • Ensure payrolls are processed, checked and approved in accordance with SBOX requirements
  • Complete the RTI process and run required reports

Profile

The successful Payroll Manager:

  • Minimum 2 years previous experience working in payroll, preferably processing multiple payrolls
  • Technically competent in all aspects of payroll management and execution.
  • Solid understanding and experience with payroll systems, (PBS Accord would be ideal), excel and word.
  • Knowledge of Auto Enrolment processes, requirements and systems.
  • Good understanding of HMRC and legal requirements affecting UK payroll.
  • Proficient in current UK payroll rules and regulations.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to strict deadlines.

Job Offer

The successful Payroll Manager will be entitled to a salary of £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience, along with these other benefits:
