In this role you will sit in our Finance Operations Team, with responsibility for overseeing Camelot's retailer data.

The Data Assurance Manager will have overall responsibility for ensuring:
  • Adoption of a consistent accurate approach to retailer data capture.
  • Designing, implementation and maintenance of retailers data policy and procedures.
  • Actively monitoring and reacting to all retailer data changes relating to credit worthiness and risk to the business..
  • Embed increased Data Control, Governance and Assurance for our Retailer dataset to ensure a high quality of information
  • Validate all retailer data prior to entry in SAP which includes changes to names, addresses, contact details, payment details, company structure etc.
  • All processes that form retailer data creation and retailer data life cycle are integrated into the Data Assurance Team.

How you'll make a difference
  • Create/Implement/Management of the Retailer data strategy and data dictionary.
  • Ensure business-wide data error flags are reported and acted upon by the data team.
  • Review and correct data exceptions
  • Actively monitor for significant retailer changes (Experian monitoring)
  • Oversee accurate Validation all bank account changes.
  • Oversee validation of all new Retailer records.
  • Create clearly defined Retailer data processes, policy & procedure.
  • Validation and management for Retailer termination process inline with SLA's
  • Validation and management for Retailer COPs process inline with SLA's
  • Stewardship and storage of the retailer agreements.
  • Regularly review, validate and reconcile Retailer data - maintain meaningful data and creation of all new Retailer records.
  • Effective line management including performance reviews, absence and leave management, assignment of tasks and projects.
  • Offering guidance and training to team members by way of regular feedback and one to one sessions.
  • Responsible for ensuring the organisations data protocols are inline with best practice.
  • Oversee the development and use of an organisations data systems and ensure that all incoming and outgoing data processes run smoothly and securely.

  • Experience in a data assurance role.
  • You're an experienced people manager
  • The ability to decipher and organise large amounts of data
  • Excellent analytical skills to effectively scrutinise data
  • You're no stranger to managing and maintaining large data sets
  • World class stakeholder management skills
  • The ability to confidently address leaders across the business and effectively present findings
  • The ability to produce informative, relevant and user-friendly reports
  • Excellent communications skills (written/verbal)
  • Experience of systems used (SAP, ES)
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Accuracy and problem solving
  • Excellent organisational skills
