Our client, a market leading distribution business headquartered in South Cheshire are currently searching for a new, ambitious Finance Manager to join their team.
Reporting into the Financial Controller, this is a great opportunity for a newly qualified Accountant looking for their first step into a management role.

Reporting into the Financial Controller, this is a great opportunity for a newly qualified Accountant looking for their first step into a management role.
This is a really varied, exciting position where day to day, you will be responsible for the following:
- Supporting month end process, assisting in production of the management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare 12 week rolling cash flow each week, including cash flow variance analysis.
- Supporting with the year-end process, including liaising regularly with the auditors
- Annual budgeting and monthly forecasting preparation of the balance sheet and cashflow
- Statutory accounts preparation - currently one legal entity.
- Ownership of the vehicle section of the P&L, including IFRS16 reporting.
- Review and sign off on all controls within areas of responsibility using controls log.
- Ensure all polices and processes are documented and up to date.
- Responsibility for the monthly submission of Marine Gas Oil duty claims.
- Stock accounting and process improvement.
- Supporting on integration of acquired entities into the management reporting packs.
- Responsible for development and people management of one/two direct reports.
