Wilec (Fire & Security) is an SME engaged in the installation, commissioning and programming of fully integrated Life Safety & Security systems in the pharmaceutical and commercial sectors.

We would like to engage a qualified Accountant to provide the following services:

  • Responsible for the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly & annual budgets & forecasts - assisted by Management Team as necessary.
  • Monitor & Report on financial progress of the Company’s business units.
  • Assist the Operations & Business Development Managers to achieve a high level of performance by providing relevant financial analysis and information
  • Prepare monthly P&L and Balance Sheet plus analysis and commentary based on budget vs actual for presentation at Management Meetings
  • Responsible for the timely preparation of annual accounts for submission to Auditors
  • Assist Auditor where necessary with all audit queries Monitor and report on financial progress of individual projects vs costs
  • Assist the Project Managers to achieve a high level of project financial performance
  • Prepare WIP analysis based on quote vs actual and ensure the correct accounting for same in the monthly and annual accounts.
  • Management of cash flow, preparation & reporting on cash flow projections
  • Management of credit control
  • Management of Revenue reporting to ensure Company remains tax compliant.
  • Review costs vs revenues and highlight & drive cost efficiencies whenever possible
  • Identify opportunities for improvement of processes to reduce costs
  • Develop financial reports from Accounting & CRM systems and present at monthly Management Meetings
  • Perform analytics to ensure accuracy of financial information
  • Develop and maintain an up to date Due Diligence process to ensure Company’s ability to approach  investors should the need arise.
  • Ad hoc duties as required by Management

Experience: (Essential)

  • Qualified finance professional ACA, ACCA or CIMA
  • Proven work experience in a similar environment 3+ years
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse and deliver information
  • High level of attention to detail & accuracy
  • Ability to work with the management team to drive the company forward in setting and meeting targets.
  • Ability to develop comprehensive short, medium and long term business plans.
