Credit Controller - 2/3 month temporary role

To ensure a timely and accurate maintenance and coordination of accounts receivable, treasury management and associated financial reporting to both internal and external stakeholders.

Client Details

The client is looking for an experienced credit controller with proven experience of recovering outstanding debts, having good knowledge of accounts payable and being able to run a finance administration function.

Description

• Maintaining contact with customers to ensure invoices are clear for payment prior to items falling due.
• Reviewing and setting up sales invoices ensuring correct posting on the system.
• Maintaining accounts receivable aging and following up on outstanding customer debt.
• Reviewing financial information, credit reports, customer history and other financial KPI's.
• Maintaining bank accounts and reporting on daily cash positions.
• Performing daily bank reconciliations and reporting on reconciling items.
• Maintaining company credit cards and processing staff expenses.
• Overseeing high volume transactions and multiple currencies.
• Preparing reports for month end reporting.
• Gathering data and generating reports to assist in collections and identifying problem areas.
• Preparing periodic and ad-hoc reports for management.
• Identifying and recommending opportunities for improvement in existing procedures and processes.

• Processing supplier invoices and credit notes.
• Maintaining and reconciling supplier statements.
• Reviewing and maintaining supplier list.
• Raising non-job purchase orders.
• Tracking Budget expenses.

Profile

• Strong attention to detail
• Strong communication skills with stakeholders
• Ability to work well within a team
• Intermediate Excel Skills (vlookups/pivots)
• AAT/ACCA/CIMA qualification
• Experience in looking after large key accounts
• 3+ years' experience in similar roles

Job Offer

- 23-25 per hour
