We are looking for an
IFRS Expert

who will be preparing Group-level financial reports in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), taking part in preparing Group-level regulations, managing the external audits, handling and resolving specific, complex accounting matters, tasks.


The tasks in a nutshell:

  • Take part in preparation and control annual and quarterly stock exchange reports, annual and interim financial statements of MOL Group, manage the reporting process
  • Analyse below EBITDA items, financial position and cash flows on quarterly basis
  • Maintain liaison with and co-ordinate the information flow across affected business and functional organisations, domestic and international subsidiaries and external partners (accounting service provider, external auditor)
  • Update MOL Group's accounting and consolidation policy in conformity with IFRS, as well as international industrial best practices
  • Harmonise and improve integrated reporting processes, policies and principles used at the parent company and MOL Group member companies, implement modifications required by changes of accounting regulations within the MOL Group and the parent company
  • Exercise financial-accounting control over specific MOL Group contracts
  • Take part in the elaboration and review of regulations concerning the given professional area, responsible for applying statutory and internal regulatory changes to regulations applicable to the given area of competency, and initiate the process of making the same changes to the affected subsystems
  • In the course of project work affecting multiple organisational units, represent the professional area


Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of IFRS and motivation to further develop it
  • University, college degree with specialisation in the relevant area
  • Professional experience: min. 2 years (preferably at Big4 or public company)
  • Intermediate English skills
