A market-leading Cheltenham-based service sector organisation requires a Management Accountant to join their established team. Occupying a premium space within their sector, this appointment will involve responsibility for accounting processes across a number of UK functions and will support the Finance Manager. ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified (or equivalent) you will have strong Excel skills, the ability to multi-task and be able to work towards deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:Production of monthly management accounts with commentariesReconciliation of balance sheet accountsSupport with budgeting and forecastingIncome and expenditure analysisPreparation of cost accrualsUndertaking and providing information for external auditsTransactional finance - including Sales Ledger and Purchase LedgerIntercompany account reconciliationsMaking and receipting payments from bank accountsCompletion of VAT returnsInitial payroll element preparation and final paymentProcessing of staff expenses and credit card purchasesCreditor and Debtor analysisBanking reconciliationsFX revaluationsLiaising with managerial staff, Directors and other colleagues
