What is the role?

As an Accounts Manager working within our flagship Esher office, you will be assisting the Partners and Associate Partners with reviewing and finalising accounts preparation, management accounts and VAT returns, and being a key client contact, building a strong relationship. You will also provide training and support to junior members of the team.

  • Managing and delivering accounts assignments
  • Supervising, delegating and reviewing work of/to juniors
  • Delivering information to clients in a timely manner
  • Displaying in-depth client and industry knowledge
  • Managing client communication in an effective manner
  • Reviewing, amending and discussing accounts with clients before handing to Partners for final client meetings
  • Providing on the job training for junior staff and giving feedback on a timely basis
  • Assisting clients with any queries they may have, including assuring that the relevant member of staff with that particular expertise is made aware of more complex queries
  • Gaining new work from existing and new clients where possible

What you will need to be;

As well as the above you will be ACA/ACCA qualified and have experience of; completing private company financial statements, handling a portfolio of clients, and managing and delegating work to juniors, as well as possessing an understanding of corporation tax, VAT and personal tax at a compliance level.
