Who we are looking for

This position is a Client Services Manager within the Alpha Services. We are looking for someone to act as overall owner, and be fully accountable, for the local relationship and service delivery across all Alpha services end to end delivery for a key strategic client. You will:

  • Act as the primary contact for the Client from an Alpha relationship and escalation perspective.
  • Lead client initiatives and strategies through to implementation and client issues through to resolution.
  • Demonstrate command and control in relation to the operations and service delivery in line with local governance and risk excellence.
  • Play a lead role in the wider Client Service delivery function for the client globally, in support of the overall Global Client COO and Global Client Service Manager.
  • To be responsible for the client governance infrastructure – service review meetings, project reviews, etc.

What you will be responsible for

As Client Services Manager you will:

  • Prioritize service objectives for the client and provide leadership and direction to ensure that all project deliverables and recommendations are consistent with overall corporate goals and objectives.
  • Focus on both tactical and strategic issues such as product optimization, operational effectiveness and operating model design for your client.
  • Manage Alpha business relationships with key client representatives and leverage relationships with senior individuals across State Street and client organizations.Set expectations and monitor client service levels.
  • Interface regularly with business and technology units to review and analyze operational challenges and technology developments.Work with business leaders across all sites and jurisdictions to achieve optimum service results and improve client sentiment. Identify and implement solutions to enhance operating leverage and scale for each client
  • Act globally with other Client COOs and the Alpha Management Team to identify and analyse business / client trends and work together to conclude and implement best practice for the group.
  • Support where appropriate the Global Relationship Manager for the client, the Client Executive team, Product Managers and business managers in the sales process.

  • Minimum 10 years of financial services experience, in client service or relationship management capacity.

  • Strong written and communication skills and ability to present to clients and senior STT management.
