Your field of responsibility

Join us as an Assistant Vice President in the Strategic Transactions Group (STG), a team that originates, structures and carries out renewable energy project finance transactions. As part of the team, applicant will work with a small team of Structurers, Traders and Investment Bankers. Applicant will develop sophisticated financial models, inputs and modeling approaches, and use outputs to draw conclusions and make recommendations. One will also collaborate closely with advisors, lawyers, accountants and other counterparties to produce internal risk reports and legal documentation. The opportunity to work with external clients and internal key partners will help develop an extensive network. The role will also provide exposure to the mandate of the STG Chief Operating Officer. In this capacity, you will work on risk, operational and control initiatives that will help support an existing robust risk and controls framework across the business.

Your future colleagues

STG is a business that has a directive to structure and implement U.S. tax-incentivized renewable energy finance transactions as well as accounting, regulatory, tax and liquidity optimization solutions for the Firm. U.S. tax-incentivized renewable energy finance drives the bulk of the group’s P&L and is closely aligned with the Firm’s stated SRI/ESG initiatives. STG also partners with the Investment Bank’s Debt Capital Markets Solutions team to implement these initiatives. Your skills and experience

We are looking for applicants with an equivalent experience of the sector, its products and markets is a plus and proven modeling and technical skills.

  • Ability to produce excellent written materials - credit committee reviews, investment banking
  • Committee memos, and new business proposals.
  • Apply technical skills and knowledge to tackle problems and give advice.
  • Proven experience/exposure to a controls and operational environment is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface comfortably with senior key partners.
  • Dedicated and self-motivated with a drive for excellence.
