Accounts Payable Senior - Hybrid working

The AP Senior will be solely responsible for the manual processing of invoices, posting overheads and inter-company accounts. As an AP Senior, you will have 3+ years experience in an AP role, and it is desirable that you're studying towards an accounting qualification (AAT/CIMA/ACCA).

My client is a well-established retail company based in North West London, specialising in luxury accessories. With over 50 years' experience, my client is a renowned expert in their field. They're looking for someone to join the finance team to head the AP function, so minimum 3 years' experience in this field will be necessary.

Description

Key responsibilities include:

• Code all purchase invoices received accurately to prepare for entering into the accounting system
• Input all purchase invoices to supplier accounts
• Raise purchase orders to suppliers when requested
• Enter all credit notes received from suppliers and match off against invoices
• Prepare and process inter-company trading invoice and reconciliation
• Input all supplier payments
• Post and reconcile corporate credit cards
• Process employee expense claims
• Assist with the preparation of supplier payment runs
• Reconcile purchase ledger on a monthly basis using supplier statements of account
• Assist in the preparation of year-end creditor reports for financial audit

Essential skills:

• 3+ years experience in AP role
