Our client is a successful business based in Bury. Due to rapid growth the client is looking to expand their team! Seeking a Management Accountant to join on a full time basis. Offering flexible/remote working plus study support.

Description

  • End-to-end monthly management accounting.
  • Assisting in the management of the budget and forecasting processes, working with business managers to tight deadlines.
  • Involvement in day-to-day management of the department, providing support to departmental staff where necessary.
  • Providing financial support to evaluate commercial initiatives, working with non-finance staff to explain and challenge existing practices.
  • Contributing to the development of financial controls for all group companies.
  • Providing KPI and profit reporting, analysis and commentary to a strict month-end timetable.
  • Assisting in the development of product/customer profitability.
  • Year-end accounts, tax & audit support.
  • Assisting the Finance Manager in supporting the IT requirements of the business
  • Liaising with the group's Central Finance office, providing analysis and commentary as required

Profile

  • Minimum 2 years experience within a Management Accountant role
  • Part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA)
  • Demonstrable ability to proactively identify, follow up and resolve problems.
  • Organised, logical problem solver required with motivation to influence business processes and decisions.
  • Excellent and demonstrable working knowledge of Excel.
  • Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
