A global market leader within the manufacturing industry looking for a motivated and passionate individual to join their Finance Team. This opportunity will allow the successful candidate to join a diverse and collaborative team culture along with flexible working arrangements of 3 days in the office and two days WFH. Description

Your role will include:

• Generating financial reports that display the company's profits, equity, and cash flow
• Examining bank statements and reconciling them with general ledger entries
• Manage and complete month end activities and ensure output in an accurate and timely manner
• Preparation of leases according to IFRS 16
• Period balance sheet reconciliations of selected asset and liability accounts
• Assisting with audit requirements
• General ledger maintenance
• Journal and month-end processing
• Balance sheet reconciliations (and year end reporting)
• Variance analysis of all bank statements and balance sheet accounts
• Any other ad hoc duties that arise

Profile

The successful candidate will have proven experience of 2 years or more in a similar Financial Accountant role, along with the following attributes:

• CA/CPA/ ACCA qualified or working towards (study support provided)
• Knowledge on IFRS 16
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles
• Strong computer skills
• Experience in the application of accounting process and procedures
• Experienced & proficient in accounting software (SAP preferred)
• General computer literacy in ERP, Microsoft products & cloud-based programmes
