Our Risk Assurance Practice provides an invaluable safeguard in today's complex operating environment with insights and independent assurance. We work with clients to deliver business control to help them to protect and strengthen every aspect of their business from people to performance, systems to strategy, business plans to business resilience. We help clients manage, mitigate and control risks from potential cybersecurity breaches to possible breaks in the supply chain. We assess and prepare businesses by looking into their technology, finance, data analytics, regulatory requirements, data security and privacy, internal audit, and the third parties our clients rely on, to help clients deliver quality results and meet their strategic objectives.

A career within Digital Risk Solutions (DRS), will provide you with the opportunity to be responsible for developing innovative digital solutions to address risks and issues that the clients of PwC are facing. Whether originating opportunities or supporting project delivery, you will focus on enhancing our risk services related to business strategy, process engineering, technology solutioning, people and change management.

As a PwC leader, you will work with a team of problem solvers and Subject Matter Experts, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to de-risk execution. At the Management level, you will bring forth skills and experience to assume the following responsibilities (but not limited to):
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Project Sponsors, Program Directors and Executives in relation to programs of work and transformation activities
  • Help our clients gain confidence that key transformation projects and programs are aligned to their strategic outcomes, are on track with delivering the required quality of output
  • Be part of a high performing team that provides services including (but not limited to):
    • Lead and drive origination opportunities for new digital programmes
    • Review, assess and design digital transformation programmes
    • Conduct deep dives and health checks across transformation lifecycle
    • Manage and integrate programmes where necessary to enable the success of the initiatives
    • Conduct project recovery to minimize risks by quickly restoring project controls (i.e. Programme Readiness Review, Functional Review and Technical Review)
  • In a highly structured and presentable manner, identify and effectively report any issues and recommendations for improvement to clients, including drafting of formal reports covering these areas
  • Stay abreast the local and national business and economic issues to make sound recommendations for clients' pain points
  • Able to build trusted relationships. Collaborate effectively with team members and external stakeholders. Work effectively in different teams for varying periods of time building good working relationships with both colleagues and client personnel at all levels.
  • Seek opportunities to learn about other cultures and other parts of the business across the Network of PwC firms
  • Invite and provide evidence-based feedback in a timely and constructive manner for own and others development improvements
  • Have the ability to lead effectively by motivating their team to perform better and understand what motivates their team members and give them what they need to succeed. Offer constructive feedback to employees and are available for questions or additional training


About You:
  • A University degree with at least 5 years of relevant digital transformation experience in a professional service or Big 4 environment
  • Business consultancy and advisory experience across Risks and Governance, Process Mapping and Analysis, Target Operating Model and Strategy will be advantageous
  • A passion for technology and demonstrates strong analytical, stakeholder management and project management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven track record in client facing roles and business development experience
  • Strong ability to influence and negotiate with others
  • Demonstrate keenness and abilities (if any) in utilizing automation and digitization tools.
  • Comfortable working with large, complex data sets to build models and leveraging data visualization tools to provide insights to stakeholders
  • Ideally, experience and qualifications in some of the following areas would be advantageous:
    • Experience in Solution Architecture (i.e. Cloud, Application Development and Integration)
    • Project Management qualification (i.e. MSP, Prince2, MAPM, MoR, Agile, Scrum)
    • Change Management qualification (i.e. Prosci, AIM)
    • Architectural qualification / certification (i.e. TOGAF, Zachman)
    • IT Service Management certification (i.e. ITIL, COBIT)
    • Functional expertise in Enterprise Apps (i.e. CRM, Billing, SCM, or ERP systems)
    • Cyber security expertise across critical infrastructure, applications, network, cloud and the IoT is an advantage
