My client is looking for a professional and conscientious Financial Accountant to join its finance team. Working closely with the Financial Controller, you will support the day to day running of the finance department. This is a fast-paced environment so my client is seeking someone who can work well under pressure.
Responsibilities include:

- Producing monthly accounts (schedules, journals and reconciliations)
- Preparing regular management reports to support of the monthly accounts
- Maintaining the financial records of the business, including reconciliation and fixed asset register
- Ensuring accurate and timely recording of routine transactions
- Supporting the Financial Controller with the preparation of annual operating and capital budgets and contribute to the reforecasting of said budgets
- Daily treasury management, inclusive of forex/hedging and working capital forecasts
- Managing, mentoring and motivating the financial team members in order for them to reach their full potential
- Producing domestic and foreign VAT returns, corporation tax submissions, Customs Duty allocations and any other statutory regulations
- Supporting the Financial Controller with the annual audit process
- Qualified / part qualified / qualified by experience
- Experience of working in a similar role
