The successful candidate will be involved in advisory and financing transactions with a focus on:
• Financial modelling including analysing financial scenarios and producing sensitivity analysis;
• Support in all aspects of the credit process including preparation of credit applications, due diligence and assistance with utilisation of internal models
• Manage other internal processes relating to advisory and financing transactions e.g. updating databases, briefing notes, completing internal system-based processes
• Support ongoing portfolio management and gathering of client information
• Contribute to identification of potential new business opportunities and assist with preparation of research and marketing materials

Profile required

  • You are graduated with a Master degree from Engineering or Business School or University with a specializationin in Finance, Commerce, Economics or a related discipline
  • Experience in a financial institution desirable
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly explain complex financial issues to less financially literate stakeholders
  • Comfortable with Excel, Words
  • Display of innovation, team spirit and time management
  • Fluent English is mandatory

The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Australia is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see: Mon VIE-VIA Business France.

Department Description

The Infrastructure business line is responsible for providing financial advisory services and debt financing in relation to infrastructure assets in sectors including transportation, social and digital infrastructure. The business line has teams based in Paris, London, Madrid, Milan, Sydney and New York. Our clients include local and international developers of and investors in infrastructure.

The Infrastructure business line is part of the Natural Resources and Infrastructure Group (GLBA/NAT) within the Global Banking & Advisory business line. GLBA/NAT focuses on the development of a worldwide business franchise in the Natural Resources, Energy and Infrastructure sector by providing clients with financing solutions as well as providing advisory services. In Australia, the Group provides a range of finance and advisory services for producers, traders, processors and end-users of energy, metals and commodities as well as within the public sector through three key platforms: Infrastructure, Energy, and Metals, Mining & Industries.
