Tony Alan Recruitment currently has an exciting job opportunity for a Compliance Manager to join an exciting and well-known business in the Crawley area on a permanentbasis.

Tony Alan Recruitment currently has an exciting job opportunity for a Compliance Manager to join an exciting and well-known business in the Crawley area on a permanentbasis.
You will be joining a fast paced and dynamic business where progression will be on offer.
Your duties will include:
- Monitor and improve business process compliance in accordance with FCA regulation
- Supporting the Head of Compliance in the management and oversight of Risk Framework
- Produce and maintain Compliance governance documentation including policies, processes and procedures
- Horizon scanning and keeping up to date with changes in the regulatory landscape relevant to the current business model for the firm
- Line managerial responsibility for the Compliance Officer
- Support the Conduct Risk Manager in producing governance documents to ensure appropriate levels of performance across the business
- Produce and analyse appropriate MI to ensure TCF
- Provide ad hoc support to the Compliance Team and the wider business
- Prepare compliance reports for internal and external purposes
- Maintain Compliance-owned systems
- Maintain an appropriate Learning Management System to ensure suitable levels of competency across all staff
- Provide data protection support to all areas of the business, including investigation of data breaches and sending necessary communications to internal and external stakeholders
- Satisfying data subject requests such as DSARS, erasure requests and rectification requests
- Review marketing material to ensure compliance with FCA requirements
- Conduct and review financial crime checks, including Treasury Sanctions and PEP checks
- Review and produce legal/contractual documentation between its partners, suppliers and insurers, including new business and renewal agreements
- Provide compliance training to staff at all levels within the firm as required
- Co-operate fully and openly with the regulator
- Compliance Manager experience
- CII or ICA qualified is desirable
- Educated to degree level or suitably qualified by experience
- Excellent English language skills, both verbal and written
- Experience managing and developing staff
- Excellent communicator, confident to challenge constructively at a senior level
- Ability to interpret complex regulatory and technical information and translate into practical solutions
