Senior Accountant

A Senior Accountant is required for a long established, small sized Accountancy Practice in Southampton. The successful candidate will be their portfolio of client's businesses main point of contact when handling queries and problems and offering and outstanding level of service preparing and reviewing accounts and tax returns.
This role would suit a qualified Accountant with a minimum of 3 years of proven Practice experience, who is able to work efficiently within a small but growing team, with excellent attention to detail and working knowledge of taxation. The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary, study support if necessary and a chance to work within an ambitious firm.

Preparing year end accounts
Preparing business and personal tax returns
Reviewing bookkeeping and VAT prepared by juniors
Train and assist some junior members of staff
Senior Accountant Position Requirements
ACCA or ACA qualified (QBE are encouraged to apply also)
Experience dealing with clients in a forward facing role
Confident and passionate about providing a great level of customer service
Experience In a similar role previously

£32,000 - £40,000 per annum
