About the role

We have a new and outstanding opportunity to join Virgin Media O2 as Finance Business Partner - Supply Chain Data Analyst.

Finance lead the way for the newly combined VMO2 Supply Chain teams.

In this role the post holder will provide support to the SFBP and be an analytical partner to the HODs that support Director of Channels and VP Supply Chain within the Fixed & FMC Division.

This is a rare opportunity to proactively partner with operations, with budget responsibility of ~£60m Opex and ~£120m Capex!!!

Preparing business cases, pre and post analysis of major initiatives is crucial.

Producing monthly reporting of Operations performance, including tracking Risks & Opportunities.

Supporting the financial planning and analysis processes with metrics and data insights for financial risks, opportunities, and investment decisions.

Key to this role is improvement initiatives, using financial metrics to prioritise projects ensuring appropriate investment vs expected operational impacts.

The must haves

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

  • Qualified Accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Experience in a customer facing service based organisations or consumer subscription business.
  • An ability to influence/manage and build relationships across divisions.
  • Proven ability to analyse large volumes of data and produce insightful reports.
  • A history of managing changing deadlines and quick turnarounds of information.

  • Previous telecommunications experience would be advantageous.
  • Absolutely trustworthy with high standards of personal integrity and empathy.
  • An ability to drive continuous improvement across processes.
