Management Accountant role based in Stoke-on-Trent. The role offers a salary of £38,000-£45,000 dependant on experience.

A highly successful business within the construction industry, looking for a Management Accountant to join them, at an exciting time for the company

Description

Management Accountant responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of consolidated management accounts with commentary and variance analysis for board review
• Review the management accounts for two smaller companies
• Margin reporting and analysis for the two group companies
• Assist with the annual budget and quarterly forecasts for group companies
• Manage the year end corporation tax data , be the first point of contact for any tax questions
• Calculation and posting of Prepayments & Accruals
• Day-to-day control of group banking
• VAT returns, EC Sales & Intrastat

Profile

The candidate will have:

• Part qualified ACCA/CIMA - Required
• Sage 200 experience - Desired
• Experience of managing a small team - Desired
• SQL experience would be an advantage - Desired
• Bookkeeping and accounting skills - Required
