We currently have a vacancy within the team for a Finance Assistant to join our head office team in our Manchester headquarters. This role's main focus will be on supporting our Financial Accountant so this is where you will spend the majority of your time, however you will also work to support the Management Accounts team on month end reporting, whilst there may be opportunity to gain experience within other areas of the finance team from time to time on a project basis.
Your main responsibilities will be to work on Financial and Management reporting and analysis and assist with production of all management accounts and monthly reporting at a local and group level.You will prepare financial schedules and accruals analysis,reviewing job margins to the central management system, whilst your role will also be responsible for the analysis of financial data, managing and reporting on costs to identify and explain any variances from budget/forecast. The role will also support the resolution of supplier queries and assist with Supply Chain Finance onboarding and setup.
Budgeting and forecasting (including cash flow) and control will be the other part of your role where you will support the annual budget and periodic forecast process and also assist with the production and management of cash flow forecasts to share with the relevant shareholders.
This role could be a great fit for you if you AAT qualified, working towards this or a higher qualification and keen to pursue a career in Management accounts.
