We produce financial statements under a range of accounting frameworks including FRS 102 and IFRS. In this role you’ll:

  • Prepare statutory accounts under UK GAAP and other relevant accounting frameworks, mainly under FRS 102 including 1A, for manager and partner review.
  • The client base is within our Owner Managed Business portfolio
  • Prepare statutory accounts and accounts compilation working papers to enable us to issue an Accountants report
  • Prepare statutory accounts for audit either by internal and external auditors.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients
  • Assist in preparing share options and convertible loan disclosures
  • Comply with the Ethics Standard 5 for non-audit services.

  • Qualified Accountant ACCA, ACA, CA or equivalent
  • Excellent working knowledge of FRS102, especially the small companies framework
  • Experience in a trainee or senior role, including delivering statutory accounts preparation to a range of businesses.
  • Excellent working knowledge of financial reporting requirements as well as previous experience preparing statutory accounts compilations.
  • Experience in training junior members of staff
  • Experience of being able to build and maintain client relationships
  • Experience of managing a portfolio of clients not necessary, but advantageous
  • Working knowledge of financial products, firm services, issues regarding advice and regulation and compliance, including anti-money laundering.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Competent in the use of Caseware or other relevant accounts production software
