Consultant role summary

We are looking for enthusiastic, highly motivated junior professionals or recent graduates to join our growing firm as Consultants. The role would suit someone who wants to pursue a career in management consulting, has the intellect and desire to learn new things, is willing to challenge themselves and is interested in working across different projects and solutions.

The initial focus of the role will be on developing the basic skills of management consultancy through supporting more senior members of the team across a range of short and long-term projects and situations, whilst developing subject matter knowledge and working on internal initiatives and client deliverables. This will include becoming familiar with specific terminologies, performing market analysis and research, attending internal and external meetings, supporting project management activities, contributing to the production of written outputs and completing professional training.

As you develop an understanding of the business and the solutions we provide to clients, you will quickly be given opportunities to work directly on client facing engagements. This will involve helping to lead workshops or meetings, managing stakeholder engagement and building strong client relationships.

The role will be based in our office in central London and potentially on client sites, which could be anywhere in the UK, although are usually in close proximity to London.

What we are looking for

  • A university degree, minimum 2.1, or equivalent experience that demonstrates analytical capability.
  • A genuine interest in consulting and financial services.
  • Ability to learn quickly and pick up new concepts.
  • A motivated self-starter who can be relied upon to deliver.
  • Able to work to quality guidelines and deadlines, and with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work well within a team but also comfortable working independently.
  • Microsoft Office skills, of a high standard (principally Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
