We may be described as a Pakistan based Accounting outsourcing firm servicing UK based accounting firms. However, in reality, we are a passionate team of Chartered Accountants who came together to address the challenges of our Founder’s UK accounting firm by providing highly trained and qualified accountants based in Pakistan to deliver an impeccable quality of work and exceptional value. Once we were able to establish success for our Founder’s business, we wanted to extend the service to other UK based accounting firms.

In order to help on this journey, we are looking for exceptional accounting professionals to join our exceptional team as an Senior accountant, to help us scale our business and provide timely and quality service to our esteemed clients.

Based in Islamabad, you will become an integral part of our team and will work closely with UK based Client Managers and support them in delivering excellent client services.

Your working hours will be 12pm – 8:00pm Pakistan time.

Job Description

Senior Accountant

The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to carry out the role of a Senior accountant as well as demonstrate exceptional experience of:

1. Preparing sole trader/partnership/limited Company accounts, and personal/corporation tax returns 
2. Preparing / reviewing management accounts 
3. Overseeing and reviewing work prepared by junior team members
4. Training and developing junior team members
5. Being a good team player
6. Ability to work to deadlines and to be flexible as regards the hours and assignments worked 
7. Ability to communicate openly and build up excellent relationships with clients 

Qualifications

Technical Skills / Knowledge

• CA/ACA/ACCA Part/fully Qualified 
• Bachelors Degree or higher preferred 
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience. Relevant UK accounts experience will be preferred  
• Good knowledge of cloud-based accounting systems (eg Xero, Quickbooks etc) 
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, SUMIF, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH formulas) 
• Good knowledge of UK corporation tax, income tax and VAT and the impact on accounts and client’s overall affairs 
• Good knowledge of the statutory and technical aspects concerning a set of UK limited company accounts
